Summary
At its August 24, 2026 meeting, the Denver City Council approved resolutions covering citywide contracts, affordable housing, community facilities, transportation, infrastructure, and Denver International Airport operations. Actions included $4.52 million for housing in North Capitol Hill, $5.33 million for a Broadway Station pedestrian bridge, expanded towing and supply contracts, airport vehicle and bus purchases, and appointments to city boards. The Council introduced ordinances addressing affordable housing, renewable-natural-gas and stormwater infrastructure, regional food access, stadium-related agreements, and easement changes. It gave final approval to measures expanding Denver’s role in the RTD LiVE program, supporting Theatre at Loretto Heights, and providing $15 million to the Colorado Symphony with naming rights for Boettcher Concert Hall. Most measures passed unanimously; the towing resolution passed 11–1.
