Summary

Sylvania Township is seeking to amend its zoning resolution to clarify livestock rules on residential lots between 1.01 and 4.99 acres, particularly in platted subdivisions. The proposal would define “hoofed livestock” and “non-hoofed livestock,” establish permitted quantities, and set standards for fencing, setbacks, housing, sanitation, and animal care.
