Council to consider retroactive approval for eight District 8 events

Councilmember Domingo Candelas is seeking retroactive approval for eight District 8 community events held or planned from August through October 2026. The request would authorize city spending and accept donated materials and services supporting events including a backpack giveaway, festivals, Coffee with a Cop and Halloween activities. The City Council is scheduled to consider the request on November 3, 2026.
