San Jose planners outline housing, urban village and transit work through 2031

San José planners briefed the Community and Economic Development Committee on work completed and underway through 2031, including General Plan updates, housing policies, urban villages and transit-oriented development rules. The team has 19 positions with one vacancy and is managing a workload staff previously assessed at 126% of available capacity. The committee accepted the semi-annual status report.
