Council to appoint Julia Cooper to city employees’ retirement board

The City Council is scheduled to appoint Julia Harper Cooper as the retiree representative on the Federated City Employees’ Retirement System Board of Administration. Cooper would serve the remainder of Mark Linder’s term, ending November 30, 2028, after Linder’s death created the vacancy. The retirement board unanimously recommended Cooper after interviewing her.
