AEA and CAMP labor deals advance after maintenance supervisors reject pact
San Jose is moving to approve three-year labor agreements with the Association of Engineers and Architects and the City Association of Management Personnel after both unions ratified their tentative deals. The agreements provide 3% annual pensionable raises, a one-time payment equal to 1% of base wages for eligible full-time employees, and other benefit and workplace changes. The maintenance supervisors union did not ratify its deal, so its agreement was removed from the recommendation. The revised cost for AEA and CAMP is about $1.5 million in one-time payments and $4.8 million in ongoing annual wage costs across all funds. Council action is scheduled for October 27, 2026.
