Oakland extends parking citation system contract for up to $5.28 million

Oakland will extend its parking citation system agreement with Modaxo Traffic Management Inc. through March 31, 2028, for up to $5,279,143, including up to $1,347,328 in outstanding invoices. The system supports parking enforcement, permits, payments, correspondence and collections. The Finance & Management Committee approved the staff recommendation as amended on Oct. 13, with 3 members voting yes and 1 excused. The city will waive competitive solicitation for the extension while preparing a competitive long-term procurement.
