Council approves $1.25M Oracle payroll support contract through 2028

Oakland’s City Council approved extending Mythics LLC’s Oracle payroll consulting agreement through November 30, 2028, and raising its maximum value from $249,850 to $1.25 million. Mythics will support payroll, benefits and labor-agreement changes, tax reporting, Oracle system updates and critical system problems. The FY 2026-27 budget includes $250,000; the remaining funding depends on future budget or carryforward approval. The council passed the measure with 8 votes in favor and no votes against.
