An ordinance approving a participation agreement between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Housing Division of the Metropolitan Planning Department, and Park Center, Inc., to provide enhanced pedestrian mobility and bus shelter improvements for Park Center, Inc.’s proposed development, as well as other existing properties in the area (Proposal No. 2026M-050AG-001).

Summary

Nashville’s proposed ordinance approves a participation agreement with Park Center, Inc. through the Metro Planning Department’s Housing Division. Using up to $164,183 from the Connecting Housing to Infrastructure Program, Metro would reimburse improvements near Park Center’s income-restricted affordable housing development at 1095 Gwynn Drive. The project includes upgrading the west-side Gallatin Pike sidewalk to ADA standards and improving an east-side bus shelter and concrete pad near Broadmoor Avenue, including design and construction-management costs. Park Center would oversee construction, while NDOT would inspect and, after acceptance, operate and maintain the infrastructure. Future agreement amendments require Council approval by resolution.
