Description

An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and to accept new public sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 507 East Trinity Lane and East Trinity Lane (unnumbered), also known as 509, 511, 513 East Trinity Development (MWS Project No. 23-SL-164 and Proposal No. 2026M-068ES-001).

Summary

The Metropolitan Planning Commission recommended that the Metropolitan Council approve infrastructure changes serving the development at 509, 511, and 513 E. Trinity Lane in Davidson County, Council District 5. The proposal would abandon about 253 feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main, three manholes, and related easements, while accepting about 207 feet of new eight-inch PVC sewer main, four manholes, and associated easements. Metro Water Services and other relevant agencies reviewed the request and concurred. No conditions were attached. The change cannot take effect until approved by the Metro Council, making the legislation relevant to city oversight of public utility infrastructure and development.
