Jacksonville plans $1.56M purchase of five District 9 properties for park space
Jacksonville plans to spend up to $1,556,500 to buy five properties in Council District 9 from 2626 River City Investments LLC for use as additional passive park space. The properties are at 2830 Edison Avenue, 2827 Lenox Avenue, 538 Locust Street, 0 Locust Street and 2826 Lenox Avenue. The City Council has introduced the purchase and budget transfer, with oversight by Public Works during acquisition and Parks, Recreation and Community Services afterward.
