Jacksonville moves $1.33M into economic-development contingency fund
Jacksonville will move $1,329,510 from its Medicaid hospital-care account into an economic-development contingency account. The money became available after Florida reduced Duval County’s 2026-27 Medicaid contribution and will be held for future one-time payments under approved economic-development agreements. The ordinance was approved by the mayor on Oct. 12, 2026.
