Jacksonville proposes adding manufactured housing to its affordable housing plan

Jacksonville would add manufactured housing, including mobile homes, as an eligible strategy in its Duval County SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan for fiscal year 2026-2027. The amendment updates how state SHIP funds may support affordable housing and is proposed for council action at the mayor’s request.
