Rezoning sought for commercial marina on Trout River

Harbor Trout River LLC is seeking to rezone about 2.53 acres at 91 Trout River Drive and 8101 Main Street North in Council District 10 for redevelopment as a commercial marina and dock-construction site. Plans call for about six marina slips, existing warehouses and outdoor storage, an inland parking lot, and approximately 50,000 square feet of building space. The rezoning was introduced by the Land Use and Zoning Committee and is not yet approved.
