Jacksonville approved changing the future land-use designation for about 7.29 acres at 10491 Normandy Boulevard in Council District 12 from Low Density Residential to Neighborhood Commercial. N.D. Yazgi Normandy Blvd, Inc. owns the property, and Josh Cockrell applied for the change. The amendment takes effect 31 days after adoption if it is not challenged; a challenge would delay it until state review is complete. Other permits and approvals are still required before development or a new use begins.
