Summary

The Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is considering dissolving its Redevelopment Advisory Committee (RAC) and redesignating it as an ad hoc committee. Created by Resolution 2023-03, the RAC reviewed redevelopment options for CRA-owned property at 235 SE 2nd Avenue in Osceola Park. The 21,497-square-foot, Central Business District site formerly housed equipment and auto-repair businesses and includes a deteriorated warehouse. An $80,000 grant will support demolition and cleanup. The RAC held four scheduled meetings, but its final meeting lacked a quorum, and its chair became ineligible after moving.
