Columbus accepts 1.949 acres for proposed 52-unit Westerville Road apartments

Columbus accepted 1.949 acres from Mifflin Township at 3269 and 3275 Westerville Road for a proposed 52-unit apartment development. Westerville Rd CHB Development LLC and 3251 Westerville Road LLC are seeking city utility connections for the site, which is currently commercial. Council approved the annexation 8-0 with one abstention from Nicholas Bankston on Oct. 19, and the mayor signed it Oct. 20. A Franklin County hearing is tentatively set for Nov. 3.
