Daycare and community center approved at 1107 E. Mound St

A community center and daycare can operate in the former religious facility at 1107 E. Mound St. after Columbus City Council approved a zoning variance. The approval allows educational, recreational, youth, family and other community services in the existing building and reduces required on-site parking from four spaces to zero, with an on-street loading zone for pickups and drop-offs. Council approved the variance 36-0 on Oct. 19, and the mayor signed it Oct. 21.

To grant a Variance from the provisions of Sections 3332.035, R-3, residential district; and 3312.49(C), Required parking, of the Columbus City Codes; for the property located at 1107 E. MOUND ST.
