Description

Communication from Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Regarding the Reissuance of NPDES COC No. MIG760079 to the Ann Arbor Inn & Suites, Inc - Ann Arbor Public Services - Sustainability

Summary

Michigan EGLE’s Certificate of Coverage MIG760079 authorizes Ann Arbor Inn & Suites, Inc., operator of the Hampton Inn & Suites at 2910 Jackson Road in Ann Arbor, to discharge up to 0.001 million gallons per day of swimming-pool wastewater. The discharge will pass through storm sewers and the Allen Creek Drain to Outfall 001, which enters the Huron River at specified coordinates. The facility must follow Michigan’s Public Swimming Pool Wastewater General Permit MIG760000, effective through April 1, 2030. The certificate replaces an earlier authorization and does not exempt the permittee from other federal, state, or local requirements. Affected parties may challenge it within 60 days of issuance; renewal materials are due by October 1, 2029.
